Nashville Painted Faces

I believe I painted more little girls and even some boys as unicorns this past year.   And why not?  They are magical, glittery, and they just make ya feel good!    Some are full face. . .  ( I like to match their outfits if they don't have a color preference.) Some just over one eye . . . (a really fast face, a favorite at high volume events)   Some just an indication of some far away dream.   (young adults like this because it does not look like a kids design)    And sometimes the unicorn's horn is real!   These colorful horns are applied like gems and can be saved as a keepsake.  In fact, anyone can be a unicorn. Even "Hello Kitty". It is unanimous!  Everyone loves being a unicorn! Even the face painter!!!  back to Nashville Painted Faces

I really love tiger faces.   Instead o f the traditional yellow, orange white and black Try a different color combination.   Check out this blue tiger.  Roar! Slight green was added above the eyes to bring out the features a little more. A brighter blue inside the black strips adds even more.  back to Nashville Painted Faces

As with anything in this life, if you want to get better at something you have to practice. Just doing a thing over time will help.   I looked back at some of my early work and "gasp" could not believe how much different my work is from then as compared to now.  Check it out:    These are from years ago, maybe 1998. Welcome ~ Thank you for visiting! I am Corinne Rodgers, a very proud navy mom and artist.  I started entertaining kids when my "baby" was a toddler.  I  love painting, learning, having the giggles with guests.  This is the best job ever!
